Sparks of Hope is a non-governmental organization concerned enough about lives of Young Children. We do this right from their turf as we offer random acts of kindness and building friendship with them. Through our holistic child development models, we blend physical, social, economic and spiritual care together to help children in poverty to fully mature in every facet of life and transcend what is often a generational legacy of poverty. We care about the vulnerable children, and we desire to relate to their experience as we improve their lives. We always put children needs first in everything we do.
OUR STORY
Our organization traces back to the founder Treasure Kuguminkiriza, a young Ugandan lady from the ghetto who grew up with her mother in a home where she witnessed the harsh realities of life on the streets every day. Growing up, she would often walk past children begging for food or shelter, their faces filled with sadness and desperation. This sight pained her deeply, and even as a child, she felt an overwhelming urge to do something to help.
As she grew older, Treasure could no longer ignore the suffering she saw around her. The idea of children of her age or younger without a home, family, or even basic necessities like food, haunted her every day. She felt their pain as though it was her own. Driven by a profound sense of empathy and responsibility, she made a bold decision she would start an organization dedicated to helping street children and unfortunate families.
With little resources but a heart full of passion, Treasure began reaching out to her community, sharing her vision. She organized small fundraisers, gathered donations, and connected with like-minded individuals who believed in her mission. Together we can help provide food, shelter, education, and, most importantly, hope for a better future to the street children. We want to become a beacon of hope, transforming the lives of many children, giving them a chance to escape the cycle of poverty. In many parts of Uganda (Africa), countless children face unimaginable challenges every day. From inadequate access to education and healthcare to the harsh realities of poverty and malnutrition, these young lives are often marked by struggle and resilience.

With her growing expertise, she dreams of making a name for herself on the runway, blending her design knowledge with her love for modeling. Namazzi is determined to carve out a space for herself in the competitive world of fashion, using her creativity and dedication to achieve her goals.
Her motivation stems from a genuine wish to give back to others and make a difference without expecting personal gain.
Lovely Parvin from Uganda is a recent high school graduate with a strong desire to pursue a career in aviation. Passionate about flying, she is eager to continue her education in aviation studies, aiming to become a skilled pilot or aviation professional. Parvin’s ambition is fueled by her fascination with aircraft and the travel industry. With her determination and focus, she is ready to take the next steps toward achieving her dream of soaring through the skies and building a successful career in aviation.
